Coils & Condensers..

I spent the day trouble shooting my ElCamino... You can pretty much tell the mood of my journal with that opening scentence. Not 'fixing' but troubleshooting. I've come to the conclusion that the problem is on what they call the 'High Tension' part of the ignition system. After the coil steps up the voltage and distributes spark to the cylinders. Sorry if none of this makes sense, I think I have to buy a new condenser.. I HOPE I have to buy a new condenser.. they're like... two bucks.. Then I can drive her again. On a better note, I did get to rebuild her carburetor, and refinish the steering column. No more rust. :YES: That's all. Work tomorrow.. damn.. I was really looking foward to more wrenching.

Yeah, you can have my friday if you can. Then I'll have a day off before I have to pull my six day week. Rather than it being a seven day one..

I'm barely logicated in it myself... only reason I'm going after the condenser is because it's supposed to be the first thing that dies... what's worse is that there aint a place on the internet that carries my type... and I dont even have a DVOM to test the damn thing....

Wel.. the consenser is fine.. so.. it's something else now... at least with the multimeter I bought I can further trouble shoot!!
Allright... I'll go and look.
